Its.cola Releases Session Recordings for No-Charge Public Access
Columbia, SC – September 22, 2021. Its.cola, a 501(c)(3) organization managed by Columbia Economic Development (CED), has publicly released the recordings of a series of lunch and learn webinar sessions it conducted from May to July. The series focused on veteran industry leadership and professional mentorship, innovating entrepreneurs, and how companies are addressing their talent acquisition and retention needs.
“Because Columbia is a world-class hub for the insurtech industry and the University of South Carolina has a top-rated program focused on insurance and risk management, the mission of Its.cola is to cultivate and expand our robust ecosystem of insurance services companies and specialized educational institutions,” explained Ryan Coleman, Director of CED. “The webinars were very well attended, and not just by Columbia-area professionals. We had session attendance from all over the US. Every webinar featured speakers from our local area as well as other major metro markets across the country, which was wonderful exposure for everyone involved. Using this approach was helpful in cross promoting emerging leaders early in their careers, and helping connect and match students to the amazing internship programs offered by insurance and tech companies here and throughout the nation. Most of all, the insights provided by our panelists were incredibly valuable and that’s why we’re sharing the recordings publicly.”
